Mark Halvorsen, D.M.D., P.C.
Dr. Mark Halvorsen graduated from Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL with a bachelors of science in Biochemistry. He then went on to spend six years at the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated first in his class and later completed his orthodontic residency. At Tufts, he was the recipient of several awards and honors, including the Everett Shapiro Award in Orthodontics and the two Omicron Kappa Upsilon Awards.
In practice since 1998, Dr. Halvorsen continually attends courses and meetings to further his education and expertise in the latest techniques as he strives to deliver excellence in both orthodontic treatment and patient service. He maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Northeast Society of Orthodontists, Massachusetts Association of Orthodontists, and the Tufts Association of Orthodontists. He was invited by local dentists to be the orthodontic specialist at the prestigious Spears Study Club.
Dr. Halvorsen lives in Easton with his wife, Julie, and their two children, Peter and Maggie. Dr. Halvorsen is very committed to his charitable work; specifically, self-esteem issues associated with dental health as well as charities and organizations dedicated to children and strengthening families. In his free time you can find Dr. Halvorsen spending time with his family, doing various home improvement projects or fly fishing for stripers.
